I recently gave birth to my wonderful son four months ago; the pregnancy wasn't planned, his father is completely uninvolved, and due to stress and complications with the pregnancy, I moved from Texas to Florida, to be closer to my mom and grandparents. I am in school full time, and I work part time. I can't seem to find another job that will still allow me to go to school, keep my other job, and still have enough time to spend with my son. Everything here is so expensive, so I am planning to move back to Texas this summer, or at the end of the year, at the latest. I also have been diagnosed with PPD, and I have been seeing a counselor, and because of the situation I'm in, and my relationship with my family, it is best if I can get back to TX a.s.a.p. Unfortunately, I don't have much money saved up, and I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to get through the first few months.
Does anyone know of any resources or have any connections with anyone within the State programs? I've been denied for TANF, food stamps, etc., because I make too much (I only make $600 a month), and I do not receive any child support. Any suggestions, advice, names of programs, or prayers would be appriciated.
